Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
Purpose
The purpose of this committee is to represent the student-athlete's voice on campus of Concordia College. In addition, it exists to promote good communication between the student-athletes, athletic department administration, coaches and other staff. Also, the SAAC has the responsibility to actively encourage student-athlete involvement in campus and community events. And lastly, the committee will serve as a forum for discussing issues and ideas in athletics.
Membership
The SAAC will consist of representatives from each varsity team sponsored by Concordia College NY. Each representative will serve as a liaison between the SAAC and their team. Each person will serves for one year and may also serve throughout their college athletic careers.
Volunteer/Fundraising
The SAAC will be participating in various fundraising activities through the year. The money raised will go toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation along with other charities. The SAAC members will also be participating in volunteer projects including the one that their respective team participates in and the SAAC ones.
