2012 Concordia College Baseball Season Wrap-up
Bronxville, NY– The 2012 Concordia College baseball team played much of their non-conference schedule against the Northeast-10 (NE-10) Conference in hopes to prepare for Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. In the end, the last conference game of the year would decide the Clippers’ fate as the team looked to make the CACC Tournament.

Seven Student-Athletes Named to the Spring CACC All-Academic Team at Concordia
New Haven, CT - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has introduced its All-Academic Team for the 2012 spring athletic season today. A total of 105 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools have earned a place on the list, five more than those recognized last spring. Concordia is represented with seven student-athletes named to the team.

Concordia Baseball to "Pitch for a Cure" This Fall
Garden City, NY – The Concordia College baseball team will participate in a two-day baseball tournament to “Pitch for a Cure: Strike Out Juvenile Diabetes” this fall at Adelphi's William J. Bonomo Memorial Field on October 6th and 7th. Joining the Clippers and Adelphi will be Molloy College and the University of Long Island – Post.

Brockton Rox Adds Three From Concordia
Brockton, MA – The Brockton Rox of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) continued to round out their 2012 roster as they added three players from Concordia College in New York: junior outfielder Luis Gonzalez (Carmel, NY), sophomore outfielder Joe Gallub (Oceanside, NY), and junior pitcher Salvatore Minichino (Howard Beach, NY).

Gonzalez and Berrios Named to All-CACC Teams in Baseball for Concordia
New Haven, CT – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has released its 2012 All-CACC Baseball Teams and individual honors. Concordia's Luis Gonzalez (Carmel, NY) was named to the All-CACC First Team while Jason Berrios (Brooklyn, NY) was named to the All-CACC Second Team.

Concordia Ends Regular Season with 5-2 Loss at Felician
Lyndhurst, NJ – The Concordia College Clippers baseball team concluded their regular season schedule with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) showdown with Felician College on Wednesday afternoon. The Clippers needed a win to earn the sixth seed in the CACC tournament however, the Golden Falcons edged out a 5-2 victory to prevent Concordia from qualifying for the post season.

Clippers Win Non-Conference Game over Dowling, 8-3, on Senior Day
Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College Clippers baseball team took on Dowling College on Sunday afternoon for a non-conference game at Clipper Baseball Field. The Clippers played in their final regular season home game of the 2012 season capturing a victory over the Golden Lions, 8-3, on Senior Appreciation Day.

Concordia Splits CACC Showdown against Nyack
Pomona, NY – The Concordia College Clippers baseball team traveled to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe Nyack College in an important doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon. With the regular season nearing the end, the Clippers captured a victory in game one, 4-1, but fell in the nightcap, 3-2, as Concordia remains in contention for one of the final two playoff spots.

Clippers Fall on the Road to Felician in CACC Action, 4-1
Lyndhurst, NJ – The Concordia College Clippers baseball team was on the road Saturday evening for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader against the Felician College Golden Falcons. The Clippers fell in game one, 4-1, as the second game would be cancelled due to lighting in the area; a makeup date has yet to be announced.

Concordia Sweeps Post in CACC Doubleheader, 4-1 and 5-2
The Concordia College Clippers baseball team battled the Post University Eagles in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. The Clippers fought hard to come away with the sweep, 4-1 in game one and 5-2 in game two, as the Eagles suffered their 23rd and 24th losses of the season.

The Concordia College Clippers baseball team faced Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent the Wilmington University Wildcats on Saturday afternoon. The Clippers dropped both games in the conference doubleheader, 6-3 and 7-0, as the Wildcats captured their 21st and 22nd victories of the season.

The Concordia College baseball team traveled to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent the Chestnut Hill College Griffins on Wednesday evening. The Clippers battled their way to a 4-1 win in game one then followed with a 10-4 victory in the latter game.

The Concordia College baseball team traveled to face non-conference opponent the St. Rose Golden Knights on Monday afternoon. After jumping out to an early 3-0 lead the Clippers allowed four unanswered runs as the Golden Knights won 4-3 for their 10th victory of the season.

The Concordia College baseball team took a break from their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule to face Franklin Pierce University on Thursday afternoon. After dropping a close 4-3 decision to the Ravens in game one, the Clippers were unable to rebound and lost 10-0 in the second game.

The Concordia College baseball team took on Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Dominican College on Thursday afternoon. The game marked the final regular season meeting between the teams and the Chargers managed to split the season series as the Clippers fell 11-7.

The Concordia College baseball team won their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game this afternoon over Dominican College. After trailing 6-2 in the bottom of the ninth, the Clippers rallied to score five runs and walk-off with a 7-6 victory.

The Concordia College baseball team got back to their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule on Tuesday afternoon with a visit to Caldwell College. The Cougars scored runs early in both games to sweep the Clippers 8-1 and 10-4.

The Concordia College baseball team traveled to face former East Coast Conference (ECC) foe Queens College on Wednesday afternoon. Following an early 5-2 lead by the Clippers, the Knights responded with a six run 5th inning to propel them to a 13-7 victory.

Concordia Baseball Has High Hopes for 2012 Season
The Concordia baseball team has already begun play in 2012 after a four day trip in Myrtle Beach, SC. Next on their schedule is a week-long trip to Florida as the bulk of their season begins on Sunday, March 4th with nine games against five teams. The Clippers will prepare for their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule which they are ready to take on and surprise some teams during conference play.

The Concordia College baseball team wrapped up their four game trip in South Carolina against Stonehill College on Sunday afternoon. The Clippers fell behind on the scoreboard early and were unable to comeback as the Skyhawks won 8-2.

The Concordia College baseball team took to the field for the third straight day as they took on C.W. Post. A late run in the top of the ninth inning by the Pioneers secured a 4-3 win as the Clippers were unable to tie the game in last inning.

The Concordia College baseball team was back on the field Friday afternoon to take on Southern New Hampshire University. In the second of two games against the Penmen in Myrtle Beach, the Clippers fell 8-3 following a strong 8th inning by SNHU.

Concordia Falls in 9th Inning Walk-Off to Southern NH, 10-8
The Concordia College baseball team opened up their 2012 campaign against the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University on Thursday evening. After Concordia scored two runs in the top of the 9th to tie the game, SNHU ended the game in the bottom half of the 9th with a walk-off home run to win 10-8.

Concordia Baseball Picked to Finish 5th in CACC Preseason Poll
The Concordia College Clippers have been chosen to finish in 5th place according to the recently released Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Preseason Poll. The voting was conducted by the conference’s 11 head coaches.
