Both Barry and Embry-Riddle are from the south region, which has produced six of the last 10 NCAA Division II National Champions.

Concordia, the No. 41 team in the final ITA rankings of the 2017-18 season, is one of four programs to be represented in both draws, while Fenoaltea is just one of two individuals to qualify for both championships.

The championship final will be staged on Saturday, April 27, between the two finalists at the Meyers Tennis Center on the Concordia campus in Bronxville, N.Y. The facility boasts both indoor and outdoor courts.
