2012 Concordia College Softball Season Wrap-up
Bronxville, NY– The Concordia College softball team concluded the 2012 with a 10-23 record as the Clippers were unable to make the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament. Concordia picked up seven of their 10 wins in conference play and had a sub-.500 record at Clipper Softball Field for the first time since 2008.

Seven Student-Athletes Named to the Spring CACC All-Academic Team at Concordia
New Haven, CT - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has introduced its All-Academic Team for the 2012 spring athletic season today. A total of 105 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools have earned a place on the list, five more than those recognized last spring. Concordia is represented with seven student-athletes named to the team.

New Haven, CT – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has released its 2012 All-CACC Softball Teams and individual honors. Concordia’s Angela D'Amico (Old Bridge, NJ), Kristina Patrocinio (Edison, NJ) and Victoria Pisciotta (New Hyde Park, NY) were named to the All-CACC Second Team.

The Clippers played in their final games of the 2012 season as they would fall to the Tigers, 7-0 and 6-5, on Senior Appreciation Day.

Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College softball team took on the University of the Sciences Devils in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. After only recording one hit in a 4-0 game one loss, the Clippers took the win in game two, 4-2.

Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College softball team battled the Felician College Golden Falcons in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. The Clippers fell in both games, 7-1 and 8-0, as they are now mathematically eliminated from earning a spot in the CACC Tournament.

Wilmington, DE – The Concordia College softball team traveled to face Goldey-Beacom College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. The Clippers snapped their nine game losing streak with a 5-1 victory but fell in the second game, 2-1.

Orangeburg, NY – The Concordia College softball team took on Dominican College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon. The Clippers scored a total of two runs as the Chargers ran away with a 6-1 and 13-1 victory.

The Concordia College softball team took on the Georgian Court University Lions in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. The Clippers could not get their offense going as they dropped both games, 8-1 and 6-1, for their seventh consecutive conference loss of the season.

The Concordia College softball team was back on the road Thursday afternoon to battle the Caldwell Cougars in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader. The Clippers were unable to get their offense going as the Cougars won both games, 10-2 and 10-1.

The Concordia College softball team was on the road Saturday afternoon to battle Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Philadelphia University. Both teams won a game in the doubleheader as the Clippers took game one, 8-7, while the Rams captured a 4-2 game two victory.

The Concordia College softball team was back in action on Tuesday afternoon as Post University visited Clipper Softball Field for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader. The Eagles managed to edge the Clippers by one run in both games, 3-2 and 7-6 to improve their conference record to 4-0 on the season.

Clippers Sweep Doubleheader against Chestnut Hill, 13-0 and 12-0, at Home
The Concordia College softball team played in their first home games of the season on Sunday afternoon. The Clippers took on Chestnut Hill College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader at Clipper Softball Field. Concordia won both games with ease, 13-0 and 12-0, as both games only took five innings to complete.

The Concordia College softball team played their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) games on Thursday afternoon against Bloomfield College. The Clippers split the doubleheader with the Deacons as they won game one, 13-0, but loss game two, 8-3.

Concordia Softball Looks Forward to another Successful Season in 2012
The Concordia softball team is anxious to begin their 2012 season as it’s right around the corner. This year’s team will have a different look as they lost four of the top six hitters and three pitchers from last year’s team. That does not mean the team won’t contend for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) championship as these ladies have the same fight in them as last year’s squad.
