Three Softball Players Named to All-CACC Second Team for Concordia
New Haven, CT – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has released its 2012 All-CACC Softball Teams and individual honors. Concordia's Angela D'Amico (Old Bridge, NJ), Kristina Patrocinio (Edison, NJ) and Victoria Pisciotta (New Hyde Park, NY) were named to the All-CACC Second Team.
Pisciotta, a senior, earned her first selection to an All-CACC team after leading the Clippers with a .337 batting average while recording most hits (35), runs (22) and doubles (7). Her patience at the plate earned a team-high in walks (13) as her fielding percentage was .938.
D'Amico, a senior, hit .292 with 28 hits in 33 games played. She recorded a team-high in total bases (57), RBI's (19), home runs (7) and slugging percentage (.594). Her fielding percentage at shortstop was .921 as she was also named the CACC Player of the Week on March 19th and was an All-CACC First Team selection in 2011.
Patrocinio, a junior, batted .326 with 31 hits and five home runs in 31 games played. She led team with 5 stolen bases and was second on team in RBI's (17). Her .966 fielding percentage in center field was the highest among outfielders for Concordia and was an All-CACC First Team selection in 2011.
