Dos Santos Announces Men's Soccer 2019 Schedule

2019 Men's Soccer Schedule 

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Concordia College New York head men's soccer coach Jose Dos Santos released the program's 2019 schedule on Thursday, featuring a 16-game slate with 12 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matches sandwiched by four non-conference tilts.

"We are very excited for the upcoming season," Dos Santos said. "Looking forward to getting out on the field and working with the current and incoming players as we look to build off last season's successes and contend for the CACC title."

The men's soccer team opens the 2019 season with three-straight road matches, traveling to the College of Staten Island and Stonehill College on Wednesday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 14 before trekking to Holy Family University on Saturday, Sept. 21 to start CACC play. Concordia hosts Bloomfield College on Tuesday, Sept. 24 before concluding the opening month of the season with a road bout at Jefferson University on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Oct. begins with back-to-back home matches against Felician University and Chestnut Hill College on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 5 before traveling to 2018 CACC Tournament Champion Post University and Nyack College on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 16. Goldey-Beacom College and Caldwell University both come to Holtdorf Soccer Field on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Tuesday, Oct. 22, with Concordia trekking to Georgian Court University on Saturday, Oct. 26th and Dominican on Wednesday, Oct. 30th.

Concordia wraps up league action at home against 2018 Regular Season Champion Wilmington University (Del.) on Saturday, Nov. 2, with the Clippers concluding the regular season with a pair of non-conference matches at New York Tech and Molloy on Tuesday, Nov. 5 Thursday, Nov. 7.

The CACC Championship begins on Monday, Nov. 11 with the quarterfinals at the higher seed, with the semifinals and finals on Nov. 15 and 17 at a site to be determined.

Concordia went 6-8-2 during the 2018 season, going 6-5-1 in conference play and advance to the CACC Championship for the fifth time in program.
