2012-13 Concordia College Men’s Tennis Season Wrap-up
August 30, 2013Bronxville, N.Y. – The 2012-13 season for the men’s tennis team at Concordia College was another year for the record books. The Clippers captured their fourth straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship while finishing with a 22-3 overall record. Concordia qualified for their fourth NCAA Semifinals match in the past five seasons as the program continues to be one of the elite tennis teams in the country. -
Concordia Tennis Programs Earn ITA All-Academic Recognition
August 13, 2013Skillman, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its annual All-Academic Team awards and All-Scholar-Athlete awards as both tennis programs at Concordia received recognition. Both teams earned the prestigious award for the second consecutive year while 10 individual awards were earned by the Clippers.

Six Student-Athletes Named to the Spring CACC All-Academic Team at Concordia
June 05, 2013New Haven, Conn. - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) introduced its All-Academic Team for the 2013 spring athletic season today. A total of 120 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools across five different sports have earned a place on the list, which is 13 more than in 2012. The 120 spring student-athletes represent a record number of all-academic team honorees since the conference began sponsoring the program in 2004-2005. Concordia is represented with six student-athletes named to the team.

Concordia’s Boldarev and Piludu Named to ITA’s All-America Teams
June 03, 2013Skillman, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced their 2013 NCAA Division II All-America Singles and Doubles Teams. Concordia Senior Andrey Boldarev (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) and junior Daniele Piludu (Cagliari, Italy) were named to both teams after an impressive 2013 campaign.

Final ITA Rankings Released; Men Remain No. 6 in D-II, Women Now 37th
May 30, 2013Skillman, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its final NCAA Division II regional and national rankings for the 2012-13 season on Wednesday night. The men’s program remained the No. 6th-ranked team in the nation while the women dropped two spots to finish the season as the No. 37th-ranked team.

No. 6 Concordia Ends NCAA Run with a 5-0 Loss to No. 1 Barry in National Semifinals
May 10, 2013Surprise, Ariz. - The 6th-ranked Concordia Clippers men’s tennis team saw their run to a national championship end on Friday afternoon to the hands Barry University. The top-ranked Bucs remained perfect on the season and advanced to their seventh national championship match after a 5-0 victory over Concordia.

No. 6 Clippers Edge No. 9 Lander in NCAA Quarterfinals, 5-2
May 09, 2013Surprise, Ariz. - The 6th-ranked Clippers men's tennis team had a tough battle on Thursday afternoon against the 9th-ranked Bearcats of Lander University in the NCAA Quarterfinals match. Concordia would earn their second victory all-time against the Bearcats after a 5-2 victory and a spot in the NCAA Semifinals for the first time since 2011.

May 08, 2013Surprise, Ariz. - The 6th-ranked Concordia men's tennis team cruised to a 5-1 victory over No. 24 Northwest Missouri State in the NCAA Round of 16 match on Wednesday morning. The win for the Clippers advances them to the NCAA Quarterfinal match after a year absence last season.

Concordia Assistant Coach Daniel Rockhill Named Men’s ITA Assistant Coach of the Year

Concordia College Assistant Coach Daniel Rockhill was named the men’s National ITA Assistant Coach of the Year, days after being named the East Region ITA Assistant Coach of the Year.

Concordia Men’s and Women’s Tennis Capture Multiple ITA Awards

April 21, 2013Philadelphia, Pa. - The 10th-ranked Concordia Clippers men's tennis team have won their fourth straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship on Sunday afternoon after a 5-0 victory over Chestnut Hill College. The Clippers came into the tournament as the No. 1 seed while the Griffins, who also served as the hosts, were the No. 2 seed. The victory for Concordia secures the CACC automatic bid to the NCAA championship tournament which is set to kick off in just over a week.

This would be the third straight conference match in as many days for Concordia and the team still looked sharp out on the court as they picked up the 9-0 victory at the McNeil Field Courts.
