BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) postseason play comes to Westchester County this weekend, with Chestnut Hill College and Bentley University facing off at the Meyers Tennis Center in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championship on Saturday, May 11 with the victor taking on 27th-ranked nationally and top seed in the East Region Concordia College New York on Sunday, May 12 in the Second Round. First serve for both matches of the NCAA Division II East Region I pod, hosted by Concordia College, are slated for 12 p.m.

Chestnut Hill (17-6) enters the National Championship after falling in its last outing on Saturday, April 27 to Concordia College 4-0 in the CACC Championship Finals. Half of the Griffins' losses this season have come at the hands of Concordia.
Erik Jorsal (Medgeeraba, Australia) paces CHC behind 34 combined victories, pairing up with CACC All-Conference First Team member Tom Pitchley (London, England) for a 19-7 record in doubles play with a 17-6 mark at the top doubles position. Pitchley has made 21 appearances at the Griffins top singles slot during his freshman campaign, holding an 11-10 record while All-Conference Second-Team honoree Kai Adler (Leer, Germany) boasts a team-leading 17-4 mark in singles.
About No. 5 Seed Bentley
Bentley (15-8) makes its first appearance in the NCAA National Championship since the 2011-12 season after suffering back-to-back setbacks to sixth-seeded Merrimack College, bowing out of the Northeast-10 Conference Semifinals via a 4-0 defeat to the Warriors on Thursday, May 2.
NE10 All-Conference First Team recipient Connor Aulson (Groveland, Mass.) leads the Falcons behind a team-best 16-3 record in singles play, adding eight victories in doubles action for 24 total triumphs. NE10 Second-Team honoree Daniel Weitz (Roslyn, N.Y.) matches Aulson's victory total of 24, holding an 11-7 record in doubles play primarily alongside Kendall Au (Essex Fells, N.J.) to go with a 13-7 mark in singles action.
The winner of Sunday's match moves onto the "Sweet 16" at Sandando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla., on May 21-24. Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will serve as hosts.
