    Bronxville, NY– The women’s basketball team at Concordia surprised many opponents during the 2011-12 season. The team improved their record for the previous season thanks to a non-conference schedule that would prepare them for Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.

    The Concordia Clippers women's basketball team held a clinic for the nearby The Chapel School at the Meyer Athletic Center on April 17th. 20 participants between grades 2nd-7th joined members of the Clippers' team to learn fundamentals.
  • Concordia Basketball Teams Combine to Set 29 New CACC Records in 2012

    Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College basketball teams may be done with their season but it was filled with so many positives which included three 1,000 point scorers and a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) playoff appearance, the first since joining in 2009. Both teams improved from the previous season and along the way they managed to set 29 new records that will be added to the CACC record books.

    New Haven, CT – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has released its 2012 All-CACC Women’s Basketball Teams and individual honors. Concordia’s Krystina Agard (Queens, NY) was named to the All-CACC Second Team while Chanessa Blakemore (Albany, NY) was named to the All-CACC Third Team.
  • Clippers End Season with 70-61 Loss to Bloomfield on Senior Night

    Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team battle Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division foe Bloomfield College on Tuesday evening. In Concordia’s last home game of the season, senior Chanessa Blakemore (Albany, NY) was honored as she played her last game in a Clipper uniform prior to tip-off. The Deacons spoiled the occasion as they edged out a 70-61 victory, their 12th of the season.
  • Concordia Falls in Final Road Game, 75-64, to Goldey-Beacom

    Wilmington, DE – The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team visited Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division opponent Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday afternoon. After going into the locker room tied, the Clippers were unable to steal a win on the road as the Lightning won for the 18th time this season, 75-64.
  • Clippers Fall at Home to Holy Family, 73-61

    Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team battled Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division opponent Holy Family this afternoon. After trailing the top team in the CACC by only three points at the half, the Clippers were unable to upset the Tigers as they won for their 18th time this season, 73-61.

After holding a 13 point lead at the half, the Clippers were unable to keep their lead as the Eagles won 72-68 for their sixth victory of the season.

The Clippers bounced back from their two game skid to win 78-71 behind first-year forward Mariah Berry’s (Southington, CT) career-high point total.

    The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team traveled to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division foe Philadelphia University this afternoon. The Rams jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated the Clippers, 100-51, at the Gallagher Center.

After trailing at the half, the Clippers attempted a second half comeback which fell short. The Golden Falcons edge Concordia, 84-78, for their 12th win of the season.

    The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team battled Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent the University of the Sciences this afternoon. After trailing by five points with less than three minutes to play, the Clippers used their three-point shooting to capture a 74-69 victory over the Devils.

    The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team welcomed Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Dominican College to the Meyer Athletic Center this evening. In their second meeting of the season, the Chargers won 68-59 despite a near triple-double by Concordia’s Chanessa Blakemore (Albany, NY).

    The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team were back on the road this evening to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Bloomfield College. After holding a lead at the half the Clippers were outscored 41-20 in the second half, falling to the Deacons 71-51.

    The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team battled Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent the Nyack Warriors for the second time this evening. After the game was sent into overtime, a jump shot by Concordia’s Sade Jones (Patterson, NJ) at the buzzer gave the Clippers a 74-72 victory.

    The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team welcomed Bellarmine University to the Meyer Athletic Center this evening in their first ever meeting. After a close first half, the Knights ran away in the final 20 minutes to win 73-55 for their sixth victory of the season.

    The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball played their first home game of the season this evening as they welcomed the Bears of New York Institute of Technology to the Meyer Athletic Center. After a close first half, the Bears were able to edge the Clippers 86-71 for their second win of the season.
