  • 2012-13 Concordia College Women’s Basketball Season Wrap-up

    Bronxville, N.Y. - The 2012-13 season for the women's basketball program at Concordia finished their season with a 9-18 overall record and an 8-11 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) record. The Clippers captured the most conference victories for the program since joining the CACC in 2009 and their nine overall wins are the most since the 2004-05 season and the second most victories over the last 25 seasons.

  • Concordia's Krystina Agard Named to All-Met Second Team

    NEW YORK - Concordia College senior Krystina Agard (Queens, N.Y.) has been named to the 2013 All-Met Division II Women's Basketball Second Team. The announcement was made by the Met Basketball Writers Association after voting was conducted by area head coaches. Agard is an All-Met first time selection and one of three to be named from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
  • Berry and Dawson Named to the Winter CACC All-Academic Team for Concordia

    New Haven, Conn. - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2012-13 winter athletic season today. A total of 30 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools have earned a place on the list. Concordia is represented with two student-athletes named to the team which both participated on the women’s basketball team this past season.

Senior Krystina Agard (Queens, N.Y.) was named to the All-CACC Second Team for the second straight season and earned her third straight All-CACC selection.

The Clippers would need a win over the Cougars to earn the No. 4 seed in the CACC tournament but a strong performance by Caldwell spoiled Senior Day as Concordia fell 73-60.

Three players would score in double figures for Concordia as the team battled their way to a 65-61 victory at the Meyer Athletic Center.

The Clippers would overcome a three-point deficit with 30 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime but a layup for the Rams with 24 seconds remaining in the extra period would give Philadelphia an 83-82 victory.

The Clippers erased a 22 point deficit in the game but were unable to hold off the Cougars in the closing minutes as Concordia dropped an 82-76 decision.

Senior Krystina Agard (Queens, N.Y.) and junior Victoria Jones (Staten Island, N.Y.) would combine for 57 points to lead the Clippers to an 83-77 victory, their fourth straight.

The Clippers used six straight free-throws to end the game as they took a 68-65 win over the Deacons for their first win against Bloomfield since 1987 according to historical records.
