Concordia (1-5) returns to its home court following an 87-51 setback at NYIT on Wednesday, Nov. 28. The Clippers rank second within the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in assists per game with 14.5 while averaging 57.8 points on a .361 field goal percentage with 35.3 rebounds, 6.8 steals and 2.5 blocks.
Sophomore guard Saundra Cleckley (Queens, N.Y.) orchestrates the offense with 4.7 assists, the second-highest average in the CACC. Junior center Amiya Rankins (Somerset, N.J.) leads three Clippers averaging double-digit points with 13.5 while ranking sixth in the conference with 1.2 blocks. Junior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) contributes 10.5 points on top of 2.0 steals that ties for ninth in the league while sophomore guard Jordyn Hornbuckle (Hopkinsville, Ky.) pulling down a team-best 4.7 rebounds. Sophomore guard Cameron Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) rounds out the trio posting double-digit scoring with 10.3 points.
About the Knights
Queens (1-4) hits the road, where they have yet to win a game this season, after falling at home to Southern Conn. State 83-60 on Sunday, Nov. 25. The Knights average 65.6 points on .365 shooting with 38.8 rebounds, 13.0 assists, 8.0 steals and 2.6 blocks.
Beth Bonin paces three Knights averaging double-digit points with 15.0, with Emer Moloney dishing out 3.2 assists on top of 1.8 steals. My'eesa Grant averages a team-leading 8.6 rebounds and matches Lucy Tougas with 0.6 blocks while Tougas chips in 12.8 points.
