BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College (N.Y.) women's basketball team begins a two-game hiatus from Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Saturday, Dec. 15 when the Clippers travel to Sparkill, N.Y. to take on St. Thomas Aquinas in a 1 p.m. contest.

About the Clippers
Concordia (2-7) hits the road after falling against Post University 68-52 in CACC play on Saturday, Dec. 8. The Clippers lead the CACC in assists per game with 15.6 while averaging 60.4 points on a .363 field goal percentage with 35.4 rebounds, 8.0 steals and 2.8 blocks.

Junior center Amiya Rankins (Somerset, N.J.) leads three Clippers that average double-digit scoring with 14.2, the sixth-highest average in the conference, on a .477 field goal percentage while ranking fifth in the league with a team-best 1.2 blocks per game. Sophomore guard Saundra Cleckley (Queens, N.Y.) orchestrates the offense behind a 4.2 assist per game rate that places third in the conference, followed by sophomore guard Cameron Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) who ranks seventh in the league with 3.7 assists on top of 12.2 points. Sophomore forward Sabrina Clement (Queens, N.Y.) pulls down a team-high 4.7 rebounds with 0.9 blocks, seventh-best average in the conference, while junior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) records a team-best 2.6 steals that ranks third within the CACC to go with 10.1 points.

About the Spartans
STAC (8-1) hosts Concordia riding a five-game win streak, most recently besting Bridgeport University 89-54 on Saturday, Dec. 8. The Spartans average 71.6 points on a .417 clip with 39.4 points, 15.0 points, 11.4 steals and 2.6 blocks.

Ruth Adams paces the STAC attack with 12.6 points, followed by Emily Preston who chips in 10.9 points on a .512 clip with a team-best 7.4 rebounds. Chelsea Murphy dishes out a team-best 4.1 assists, while Kellyann Averill sparks the Spartan defense behind 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks.
