BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Concordia College New York head women's soccer head coach Kelci Hegg revealed the program's 2019 schedule on Monday, featuring a 15-game slate with six contests at Holtdorf Soccer Field.
"We are looking forward to a great season," Hegg said. "Starting with three strong out of conference matches. STAC is always a tough game for us but we have been fairly evenly matched in the past. After three years, we are excited to open the season with Pace and see how much of a test that will be for our young squad. We also welcome College of Staten Island to Division II, and look forward to our continued matches with them in the future."
The women's soccer team begins the 2019 campaign with a four-game road swing, taking on Pace University, St. Thomas Aquinas College and the College of Staten Island in non-conference play on Sept. 12, Sept. 14 and Sept. 18 before opening Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play at Holy Family University on Sept. 21. Concordia's home opener against Bloomfield College on Sept. 25 and a road tilt at Jefferson University on Sept. 28 wraps up the opening month of the season.
Concordia kicks off Oct. with back-to-back home bouts, hosting Felician University and Chestnut Hill College on Oct. 1 and Oct. 5, before hitting the road for a pair of away matches at Post University and Nyack College on Oct. 9 and Oct. 15. Goldey-Beacom College and 2018 CACC Tournament Champion Caldwell University come to campus on Oct. 19 and Oct. 23, with the Clippers wrapping up its road slate at 2018 Regular Season Champion Georgian Court University and Dominican on Oct. 26 and Oct. 29. The 2019 regular season ends on Nov. 2 at Holtdorf Soccer Field against Wilmington University.
The CACC Championship begins on Nov. 12 with the quarterfinals at the higher seed. The semifinals and finals will be hosted by Post on Nov. 15 and Nov. 17.
